Sad Frog Comics

Sad Frog Comics was a personal experiment in 2021 where I felt like I was stagnating in style and wanted to try and make something where I could explore art styles I haven’t worked on in a while, particularly painting.

It was also during the pandemic and I felt that personal expression for social media had changed where there was a rise in art that catered to moments as opposed to long form comics, often centered on mood and short statements anyone could relate to if given enough vagueness.

So it was a way to vent and experiment with the social media landscape at the time, Sad Frog Comics amassed a following of 3,000 people on Twitter and Instagram.
