Life is Strange: Settling Dust Cover

I was commissioned by Titan Comics to do a cover for the series.

Life is Strange was one of my favorite video games so I was ecstatic to be given a chance. They liked my gig posters so they were looking to try and have the alternate cover be in that realm of a gig poster inside the world or one of my crowded gig pieces of the High Seas, a band that the comic was following.

I presented 2 initial studies where I proposed a mix of both where it was a band shot being used as a poster on a wall of posters outside of a venue, or a gig poster that the band commissioned themselves to promote one of their shows.

We went a different route where they suggested something more close to a shot of the band in the middle of a gig with the main characters, Max and Chloe included.

They dug the composition I did of this slanted perspective and suggested I would use a limited color palette like I did for my gig posters.
